[SI-LIST] How to attach a 5 mil trace to a 603 component pad?

Hi,
Let's say that I have a 50 Ohm odd mode trace, and that trace is
narrow. For example it might be in the 5 to 8 mil range as far as
width goes.
I require that this trace be AC coupled between the source and the
load. The pads on a 603 package look like football fields compared to
the trace. This must cause a discontinuity.
If anyone has any good reference material on structures that can be
used to mitigate discontinuites of this type I would appreciate the
links.
Thank You
Tom
