Hi Nancy,
This happens because during the DC operating point, capacitors are open,
inductors are shorted, resistors are their assigned values and all sources are
set to their DC values.
You can use use the DCSTEP option. DCSTEP will convert element and model
capacitors to a conductance value. The value of the element capacitors are
divided by DCSTEP to obtain a DC conductance value. The units of DCSTEP is
seconds. Setting
.option DCSTEP=1p
will avoid the "no dc path to ground" error.
