[SI-LIST] Gold plating reference(s)

Can anyone recommend one or more good (thorough) references regarding gold 
plating on printer circuit boards.  I'm looking for information like how to
choose 
electroless verses electroplated, when nickel underplate is required,
typical plating 
thicknesses, when selective pattern plating is possible, etc.
