Hello, I am a user of Ansoft HFSS and I've often wished there was a place where other users would post generic HFSS projects which other users could then reuse, scavenge, or simply learn from. In the spirit of this, I've created an HFSS Forum (http://www.hfss-forum.com/) and to kick things off, I've posted a simple project used for simulating the impedance of small plane pairs which was used with good success and correlates well to measured data (when microprobed along the edge of the plane). I am also posting the measured data which can be used as a baseline/sanity check. Here is a link to the posting area: http://www.hfss-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=4 If you have any feedback or questions, I would encourage you to post them on the forum. I intend to continue posting projects in the coming months and will try to follow these general guidelines: - I'll try for each project posting to reference the publication it was taken from (if in fact it was) so that other users can refer to those papers for further information (measured data, additional simulation details, etc). - Whenever possible I will post the measured data of the same structure for correlation purposes. - Without exception, these projects will be non-company specific with no proprietary information. - I will try to make the projects parameterizable, i.e., generalizable, so that other users can scale the structure to their specific dimensions. - I will provide a brief description of the original purpose of the project, any considerations, and the parameter definitions. - To reduce the burden on the remote server, I will upload only the project file (*.hfss), not the project directory (i.e. unsolved). If you have any projects you'd like to share, I encourage you to join the forum and upload your projects! This concept will only be successful if people share and contribute. I should note, if it's not clear, that this posting area/forum is not affiliated with Ansoft. It is simply intended as a place where users of HFSS can support and help other users of HFSS. Thanks!
