Jon,
You are making a very good point about pin to pin termination.
Just for everyone's information, IBIS can handle that with the
[R Series], [Series Current] and Series MOSFET] keywords. (I
hope I spelled them all correctly).

If you are talking about a single ended line with termination, then just
putting it into the CLAMP is the right thing (and the CLAMP really is a
termination also, by the way). If you are trying to do a differential
termination, it becomes different, then you are essentially making a
series
device. Not sure if IBIS can do this but I think most of the simulator
tools
can handle it natively.

Subject: [SI-LIST] How to add parellel terminator in IBIS
Dear all,
Does anybody know how to add parellel terminator (on die terminator) in
IBIS
model ? If the terminator is included in V/I table of Pullup & Pulldown
in
IBIS, some simulation tools will discard the V/I data when the IBIS acts
as
receiver. I have attempted to simulate this case with Sigrity's tool,
but I
can't see the effect of parellel terminator. Should I directly add
"Rgnd &
Rpower" in IBIS to fulfill the terminator function when the IBIS is
receiver? I tried, but it doesn't work either. Does anyone know how to
do it
? Thanks.
Best regards,
Peter Pang
