[SI-LIST] Eric Bogatin's article on transmission line characteristic impedance

Sainath-

Actually, I have written a follow up article, which is appearing
in the next issue of Printed Circuit Design Magazine. I write a
monthly column entitled, "No Myths Allowed". This last column is
about the LC approximation for a transmission line and describes
how many sections are required to approximate a transmission line
for a given bandwidth or rise time.

Subject: [SI-LIST] Eric Bogatin's article

Hi si-list,

I read Eric's article "What is Characteristic Impedance?"
(Printed
Circuit Design, Jan. 2000)which relates characteristic impedance
to
capacitance per length. Wonder if a follow-up article relating
ch. imp
to inductance per length was published by Eric or others. Any
info?

Thanks in advance,

Sainath
