Hmmm hmmm, I would worry more about whether these embedded resistors can
even hold their target resistance at all. Can you live with 10-15% variation
?
PS I was told a well known Stanford professor used to taunt a backplane
design with "lots" of buried resistors as an example what bad bus designs
looks like. I happened to be associated with that particular bus design (if
he ever know the 1st half of the story...) so I would caution even publicly
admit you are using embedded resistors :-D.

Subject: [SI-LIST] Embedded Resistors
Hi SI-List,
After a quickie, has anyone any recommendations for copper play materials
for embedded resistors suitable for HF(<25ps)
termination? Any pointers for papers etc. that cover HF applications and
results?
The materials that some fabricators are "recommending" all contain nickel in
the resistive layer, but they do not have any R vs
freq data. Sent my permeability paranoia alarm bell ringing!
Best Regards
David Greig
