[SI-LIST] Embedded Microstrip

Hi,
   
  Does anybody have experience with embedded micropstrips?
   
  I am planning to use embedded micropstrips instead of microstrips on external 
layers to achieve better controlled impedance. 
   
  what are the pros and cons of using embedded microstrips?
