Hi Vivek,
The inductance of any capacitor, whether bulk or high-frequency ceramic,
plays a role
in creating the impedance profile of the power distribution network.
The inductance
of bulk capacitors have to 'match' the capacitance of ceramic
capacitor(s), assuming
that you have any, otherwise you get an impedance peaking. Whether the
peaking is a
problem or not, it depends on the application.
If you dont have the ESR of the electrolytic capacitors given in the
data sheet, there is no
way to calculate it, but you could measure in a number of simple ways.
