Job Summary: An exciting opportunity to work within Network Appliance's =
Platform Hardware Development team, with primary responsibility for =
world wide certification of new products for immunity and radiated =
emissions. =20

Essential Functions:  As an active member of cross-functional teams, the =
candidate will demonstrate leadership in developing and implementing =
successful EMI/EMC concepts at the architectural, system, and board =
levels.  The candidate will insure that EMI/EMC design practices are =
followed and practical design techniques are developed and used to =
achieve wide compliance margins by design.  The candidate will verify =
EMI performance throughout the product design cycle using internal and =
external EMI testing facilities. The candidate will be responsible for =
developing test methodologies and maintaining documentation to achieve =
agency certification for multiple products.   He/She will need a strong =
basis in regulatory standards, test methodologies, and EMI trouble =
shooting techniques. The ability to successfully interface with other =
companies/suppliers to solve EMI related issues is a must. =20

Requirements:  Strong command of world wide regulatory standards =
including FCC, IEC Canada, BSMI, C'tick and VCCI; proven track record of =
EMI design successes; practical experience with on-site EMI screen =
room/test equipment; developing EMI test strategies/ plans; managing the =
interface with external testing laboratories to achieve agency =
certification; ability to work with other design and manufacturing =
professionals to implement practical solutions to EMI issues

Education: BS EE/CE required, MS preferred.
