Along with the other great pieces of information may I offer "Differential
Impedance finally made Simple" by Eric Bogatin. It can be obtained from the
GigaTest WebSite @ http://www.gigatest.com or from the RMCEMC website at
http://www.ieee.org/rmcemc . Go to archives and use the search utility tool.
Thanks

Hello Bill,
This application note has some definitions for you:
www.polarinstruments.com/support/cits/AP157.html
Printer friendly..
www.polarinstruments.com/support/cits/AP157.pdf
Typically the impedance of one of a pair of lines when
they are driven differentially is the Odd mode impedance
or Zoo, and the impedance looking into the pair is the Differential
impedance sometimes Zdiff - this is twice the odd mode..
Kind regards
