[SI-LIST] Re: Details about Capacitors

Hi Manigandan,

X2Y is a special, patented type of cap:

www.x2y.com

X5R and X7R are 2 of various types of materials used in capacitors, =
which influence different performance parameters - best you look at a =
major capacitor manufacturer's web-site, like:

http://www.component.tdk.com/components/components.asp

You can find things like this in a few seconds if you look in the =
internet, using a search engine like Google.

Betreff: [SI-LIST] Details about Capacitors

Hello All
I am new to board design and Signal Integrity Issues. There has been =
a
lot of talk about capacitors X2Y, X5R, X7R. Can some body help me in
understanding the varoius types of capacitors. Any link which gives the
basics of different types of capacitors and their appropriate usage will
help me a lot.
