[SI-LIST] DDR2 SODIMMs

Am currently involved in the design of a PCB using DDR2 SDRAMs, and am
contemplating the use of SODIMMs instead of DIMMs for their compactness,
although we're having trouble locating connectors. (Molex recently
obsoletedtheir SODIMM connector and a Google search didn't turn up anyone
else. A contact at Molex was not aware of other vendors.) Some questions:
Are there any SI differences between the SODIMMs and unbuffered DIMMs?
Does anyone have any insight as to why there appears to be a lack of
connector availability?
Does anyone know of other SODIMM connector manufacturers?
Thanks,
