Dear List,

I simply want to express my appreciation for this exceptionally educational
list.

Dear Steve,

For the benefit of the rest of us trying to get there, could you elaborate
on the second statement? Would that be looking at the difference
between the power spectral density of the supply noise and the maximum
tolerable noise power spectral density of the IC and say that there needs to
be X dB of attenuation and ferrite beads would provide Y dB which is
greater than X and so it is obvious?

If so, how to generate the two spectral plots if they are not readily
available?

Thank you very much for your time.

Best Regards,
Alfred Lee
