Hi. Is it recommendable not to place copper pour (GND net) under and close
to a surface mount inductor? (DIGIKEY PART #: 490-2493-1-ND)
(the inductor's winding axis is perpendicular to the PCboard, the PCB is a
two layer board).
Besides of not placing and IC on the opposite side of the board and
disallowing any traces running under the inductor... what other
guidelines should be followed when inductors are involved in a situation
like this?. Could anybody please point me towards
some documentation about it?
Thanks in advance.
