[SI-LIST] Connector Selection

Hi All,
                What is the required minimum multiplication factor on bandwidth 
of board to board connectors to use in high speed signal interconnect. Say for 
example if we need to interconnect 3.125Gbps XAUI through connector to other 
board what is the connector bandwidth required. Is it ok if we have 3x that is  
  3 * 3.125 = 9.375 ~ 10Gbps band width for connector, so that it can pass upto 
3rd harmonics or we need to go for 5x where it can support upto 5th harmonic. 
Which is the one to select?

Please provide your suggestions.
