[SI-LIST] Re: Ansoft Q3D Extractor

I can't give you any qualitative info, but as a past competitor of theirs,
we (at Quad Design) always considered the Ansoft 3D solver to be one of the
best (if not the best) out there.

Subject: [SI-LIST] Ansoft Q3D Extractor

Hi,
I have recently started using Asnsoft Q3D extractor to model
interconnects. I was wondering if anyone has come accross documentation
regarding the accuracy of this simulator (any bench-marks). Also what
algorithm does it use for extracting capacitance in particular. Thanks in
advance for all help.
PC.
