Using Q2d ties up the Q3d license.
Using Q3d ties up the Q2d license.
You can use either tool as long as no one is using the other tool.

So ... correct me if I'm wrong ... you have a license for Q2d V8, but
that license is never used because Q2d really ties up the Q3d license?
Or does running Q2d use both the Q2d and Q3d licenses simultaneously?
If a customer had purchased only Q2d, would they need to pay for two
licenses to run one copy of Q2d?
Obviously, I'm still not understanding the situation.
