[SI-LIST] Advantages of Pi termination network

Hello to all
  I am designing a differential receiver operating at 2Gbps.  I have a couple 
of questions
the 1st one being is it benificial to use pi termination or a single resistor 
termination for each line
the 2nd one being my termination is on chip so will pi termination be better 
with regards to fabrication layout etc etc ?

The tx line in my case is a 10cm micro strip line on a fr4 board,The geometry 
is as follows  5mil wide , distance between the edges is 5mil and the 
dielectric height is also 5 mil.
Zodd=60 ohm and Zeven=50ohm approx.
