Im not sure I can claim the title Guru but I can add a little information on this one. A short look on the LTC3776 datasheet shows that it use a symmetrical pair of FETs instead of only one FETs from the positive supply. So the additional FET to GND can sink current when then output voltage becomes to high due to outputs switching high. best regards Peter Sorensen Zhangkun wrote: > Hi Han > > In the VTT of DDR, the source and sink current is of high frequency, which > is provided by the decoupling capacitor. > > Hope this is helpful > > Best Regards > > Zhangkun > 2008.9.10 > > > å??为æ??æ?¯æ??é??å?¬å?¸ huawei_logo > > > å?°å??ï¼?æ·±å?³å¸?é¾?å²?å?ºå??ç?°å??为å?ºå?° é?®ç¼?ï¼?518129 > http://www.huawei.com > ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- > --------------------------------------------------------- > æ?¬é?®ä»¶å??å?¶é??件å?«æ??å??为å?¬å?¸ç??ä¿?å¯?ä¿¡æ?¯ï¼?ä»?é??äº?å??é??ç»?ä¸?é?¢å?°å??ä¸å??å?ºç??个人æ??群 > ç»?ã??ç¦? > æ¢ä»»ä½?å?¶ä»?人以任ä½?å½¢å¼?使ç?¨ï¼?å??æ?¬ä½?ä¸?é??äº?å?¨é?¨æ??é?¨å??å?°æ³?é?²ã??å¤?å?¶ã??æ??æ?£å??ï¼?æ?¬é?® > ä»¶ä¸ > ç??ä¿¡æ?¯ã??å¦?æ??æ?¨é??æ?¶äº?æ?¬é?®ä»¶ï¼?请æ?¨ç«?å?³ç?µè¯?æ??é?®ä»¶é??ç?¥å??件人并å? é?¤æ?¬é?®ä»¶ï¼? > This e-mail and its attachments contain confidential information from > HUAWEI, which > is intended only for the person or entity whose address is listed above.
