I think, most likely WM_COPYDATA. That is, assuming WM_COPYDATA actually does something in LiteStep or something in the address space of the dll in question. (such as, perhaps, a module written expressly for that purpose) Actually, if you don't need to transfer any data, filenames, or whatever then other messages would work.
