As long as we're all actually chatting on here ... I don't know if
anyone has not seen this
http://winshellex.sf.net/
The GeoShell team is working on a "Windows Shell Exchanger" with the
goal of making it easier to write new shells by handling the system
startup, and providing notification tray handling, and more ... (we
start the explorer DDE server too, right now). The goal is to also
allow on-the-fly shell switching and crash recovery as well (both of
these actually work, but there's no UI for changing the shell).
Anyway, we'd love to have some more shells work with WSE (it's not
complicated, and we're working on doc's now), and we'd really like to
have more developers work on it, too, and to receive code-review type
activity ... If you're interested, just grab the source from SourceForge
CVS and have at it :-)
