LiteStep 0.25 aka Phoenix was the next generation of LiteStep based on the
Raptor platform, was sporting full COM, activex scripting, and XML settings.
Support for Raptor gradually died as geo, the main developer of it, got busy
at his microsoft job. Eventually, the good parts of Raptor were taken and
added to Geoshell R6, which left only the LiteStep developers (i.e me) to
develop Raptor. It was about this time that I decided to make 24.7, which was
just 24.6 without any COM because I felt that the COM in the LiteStep code
was a major contributing factor to people not working on LiteStep. COM is
very daunting in the beginning. I was about the only developer working at
that time, Chaku helper out sometimes but was very busy with school, and that
is when I decided to turn it all over to a new group.
