I just found this list, and I'm a VB man, making the transition to C and C#.
I was pretty hardcore VB for the last 2 years (pretty much pushed it to the
limits and started getting bored), but then I started working on a shell. I
had no clue when I started I'd be on a path to learning C and loving it. If
I had more skill at gui elements in C I'd drop VB completely. I really wish
I could share the stuff on my shell with you all, it's for the company I
work for, DEPCO, Inc. It's basically used to look and feel like explorer,
yet keep students out of stuff, and only running the apps you give them. I'm
really proud of it seeing as how i just started coding about 2 years ago,
and really only in C for like the last year. Getting the dlls for hooking
and learning how to do control panel applets was vodoo magic in my VB eyes.
lol, just took a little C to open em up! The only thing I'm missing right
now is a system tray, but man it's been fun as hell trying to make that
thing (shell that is). anywhooo, that was my 2 cents.
