Yeah ... that's pretty much the sum of it.
However, I think what's worse than the suggestion that these APIs won't work in
the future,
is the insinuation that they don't work prior to Windows 2000 ... some of them
have been
around since Windows 95 (and don't show any sign of being replaced by newer
functions
either).
I just hope that when they release this SDK with SP1, that they'll improve the
docs some in
the process.
