There is some information in the winamp 3 sdk about remoting it, but i
can't figure out if it's 
possible to do this without basically making a winamp plugin ... which
COULD, i suppose, expose 
some other method. (or at least, including practically the whole SDK) 

Alternatively, geoMp3 uses some code similar to something I saw in a
litestep module (I think) 
which essentially cheats by sending keystrokes. Not very good, but it
works.  I haven't looked at
