[shell-coding] Re: Module Binary vs. Module Source Timing

isn't there something about you don't have to release the source *with* the binary as long as people know where they can get it....i rewrote this email three times trying to be assuring *and* factually correct but i'm not going to go back and read the GPL...but I think coders should before they decide to release work under it.
If what I said above is not the case, then you can release code that isn't ready and not many people will want to see it yet knowing that it isn't ready.

I'm working on a new LS module and am close to having a "pre-alpha" ready.
I'd like to let the adventurous give it a try, but the source code in not
ready to see the light of day. The question is, to satisfy the LS license,
do I need to release the source code of the module with the pre-alpha, or
can I release the binary without the source for testing and release the
source with a latter alpha release?

Thanks,
