HI list,
Just an example how to use Include Files ....
This is useful to code that should be the same on every page, like menu and
footers.
You only have to change the Include file, when you add/remove menu items - and
the run Update With Include Files from the Tools Menu.
1) Write the code and test it in the original html file
2) Select the code that should be an Include and copy
3) File New Blank Include File
4) Paste the Code
5) Save as : xxxxx.txt
6) Insertion of Include Files
a) Insert Menu Insert Include File
a 1) This insert the SEEdit Include tags like this:
<!-- seinclude topheader.txt -->
<!-- End include -->
When running Update With Include Files from the Tools Menu, the code is
invoked/updated
a 2) If code is selected the SEEdit Include Tags are wrapped around the
selected text
When running Update With Include Files from the Tools Menu, the code is
invoked/updated
This is needed to do to wrap the SEEdit Include tags around the code in the
document where the original code is written.
