I ventured out to the quarry with two OW students, one provided by Tim and one by Craig II. The air temp was 42 so getting into the 58 degree water was very nice. The thermocline is at about 36 feet. The visibility was just beyond 25 feet, a surprise given the temps and rain. It rained all day at the quarry, and it was chilly. Both students were succesful. Brian is very slow descending and so is Sam. Brian due to ears, Sam due to confidence or lack of. Brian uses a lot of air, Sam doesn't. Both are fair at bouancy. Both were suprised by the fish, several showed up. NOTE: The middle platform on beach two side of the quarry has been elevated. It now sits at a depth of 15 feet. Don't know why. Beach one only has 2 platforms, the third platform has sailed into the marsh. -- The Not Young Craig Goheen, not to be confused with The young Craig Goheen.
