Hal thanks a lot for allowing me time with the scouts last night. I’m always
encouraged when I see the future.

Here is the pertinent information on the CROP walk.

1. Date, time, location............... Oct 6 Saturday......9:00 AM........Start
& Finish at Holly Hill Mall. Plenty of parking available.

2. Scouts can feel free to bring family, friends, & pets.

3. Should finish up around 11:30.

4. There are 2 routes 6.1 miles thru Burlington neighborhoods with a rest stop
(bathrooms & water) at about the 1/2 way point. A 1 mile route around Holly
Hill Mall.

5. Scouts are not required to raise $$$ and there is no fee to walk; however,
that being said, this is a fund raiser for CROP and if anyone would like to
donate it would be greatly appreciated. Checks should be made payable to
CWS/CROP & can be turned in Saturday morning of the walk, taken to a Scout
Meeting, or dropped by the Church Office.

The thing I like about CROP is it’s a hand up & not just a hand out. 25% of the
$$$ stay in Alamance County for Loaves & Fishes, Allied Churches, Residential
Treatment, etc. Last year they raised $55,000.

If you could get me a list of those Scouts walking on the 6th & any family &/or
friends walking by Oct 1 it would be a great help.

Again thanks a 1,000,000 for your interest & help with this. If any ?s advise.
