The climbing trip is now upon us! I hope all are ready for a fun adventure! I just wanted to send out a weather update with a couple of reminders. We will be climbing at 8am and will be expecting to see some rain, hopefully not before lunch time. Please be prepared for the wet weather with rain gear (quick dry clothing is always a plus) as we will be hiking in the afternoon assuming we don't have a big storm. It should pass by early evening so this will be great experience for the scouts. There are shower facilities in the campground if you want to take advantage of that. Hiking boots are recommended for comfort and safety if you have them. Also day packs, bookbags or string bags are needed to carry your extra gear, food and water for the day. We will see you at the Hut at 4:30p and please bring a pen to fill out a release form before we go.
