Hai,
Why does my volume become 'muted' on every boot?
/etc/init.d/alsa,then click on Display and Append these lines after the line
starting with My name....../etc/init.d/alsa
/usr/bin/amixer set Master 50 unmute >/dev/null 2>&1
/usr/bin/amixer set PCM 50 unmute >/dev/null 2>&1
/dev/null /usr/bin/amixer set CD 50 unmute >/dev/null 2>&1
and then save. Then just once configure the sound with alsaconf
