[School-GNU-Linux] it exam installation problem

sir, 
    please look at the following problem
I failed to install itexam software on one system.
 

The details: on adding cdrom in synaptic package
manager,first the home folder opens,then the the
 message shows "scannig the cdrom" on top and
 "unmounting cdrom" below that.


when tried the file based installation the messages i
get
on the terminal 

HSV:/home/user# gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

(gedit:4408): GnomeUI-WARNING **: While connecting to

Authentication Rejected, reason : None of the
authentication protocols specified are supported and
host-based authentication failed.
      
The sources.list opened and after updating it i gave
the command
"apt-get update" on the root terminal i recieve the
following message

but on searching  "itexam" on synaptic package manager
the packages are not displayed
