[School-GNU-Linux] Re: error(mount: special device /dev/scd0 does not exist)

Quoting Rajaneesh Renadev <rajaneesh322@xxxxxxxxx>:

sir/madam
when I try to mount by cd/dvd drive there will be an
error(mount: special device /dev/scd0 does not exist) my fstab
contain the mount point /dev/scd0 /media/cdrom

hope you have an ide cd/dvd.
Can you send the output of
dmesg | grep hd

login as root and issue the command
dmesg | grep hd > message.txt
(This will save the output of the command in the file message.txt)
and attach the message.txt file
