[School-GNU-Linux] GNU/Linux installation error

sir
   i was installing GNU/Linux on AMD Sempron processor with 80Gb SATA 
hardisk.But now iam not getting the display. then i run the tasksel commond in 
root . but it ended with the message " The following packages have unmet 
dependencies. gnome-core:Depends :Yelp( >=2.10.0) but it is not installable. 
tasksel:aptitude failed.
