1) Connect and switchon your external serial modem
2) open a root terminal and execute the command : wvdialconf (it will
detect and configure the modem)
3) then on the same terminal, execute : gedit /etc/wvdial.conf and
fill the username, password and phone number to dial.
to connect to the net open a terminal and execute the command : wvdial
Make sure the user you trying to dial have previlages to use modem (if
not add that in Desktop->Administration->users and groups menu)
