Security Coordinator
based in Gresik, East Java.

= Responsibilities :

=E2=80=A2 The incumbent will be responsible for a= ll security matters in
Indonesia and particularly the personnel security an= d plant security at
Ujung Pangkah (which is the reason for locating the pos= ition in Gresik).
The incumbent will report to the Indonesia General Manage= r (for Indonesia
general security policy and implementation) and the UP Pla= nt Manager for
plant specific security matters. The incumbent will report t= o Corporate
Security for functional support on corporate security policy an= d
implementation.

=E2=80=A2 Externally the incumbent will maintain H= ess=E2=80=99s good
standing with Government organizations with regard to He= ss=E2=80=99s
security obligations and will maintain a support network to al= 1ow rapid
government support in the event of a security incident.

= =E2=80=A2 The Security Coordinator will work closely with Hess Government
R= elations and Community Relations staff to ensure cooperative and
constructi= ve security engagement with the communities within which we
work.

= =E2=80=A2 The Security Coordinator shall oversee all third party and
direct= hire security personnel employed by the company in Indonesia.

=E2= =80=A2 Provide leadership to assure a secure and safe workplace and
promote= optimal physical security of employees, assets, documents and
operational = and related facilities by implementing HESS and Government
Security and Saf= ety procedures.

=E2=80=A2 Work with all stakeholders to Develop and = Implement a Security
Management System for HESS-Pangkah field operations (t= o include
Operations,Plant Management and EHS Department); implement ISPS = Code
(Security standard for Ship and Port). Evaluate physical security of o=
nshore and offshore facilities, offices, and accommodation including CCTV, =
access control, etc.

=E2=80=A2 The Security Coordinator will work cl= osely with Hess Government
Relations and Community Relations staff to ensur= e cooperative and
constructive security engagement with the communities wit= hin which we work
and develop a fit for purpose security mapping plan.
=E2=80=A2 Work with all stakeholders to plan, implement and train for al= l
security systems for possible escalation conditions from normal up to abn=
ormal. Organize and arrange an appropriate security information system. Con=
trol and coordinate all aspects of the workers, facilities and materials se=
curity. Take a leading role in Emergency Response (ER) planning and executi=
on.

=E2=80=A2 Put in place systems to detect, prevent, stop, investi= gate and
report any security incidents (theft, robbery, fighting, loss, bom= b
threats, kidnapping, drug abuse, internal theft, computer crime, etc). Pu= t
in place a security lessons learnt process : assessment, evaluation, reme=
dywith documented follow-up.

=E2=80=A2 Work closely with Management= to anticipate any labour
disruptions,strikes, riots, mass demonstrations,= and other escalation of
normal working conditions.

=E2=80=A2 Mainta= in Hess=E2=80=99s good standing with Government
organizations (such as BPMI= GAS) with regard to Hess=E2=80=99s security
obligations and maintain a supp= ort network to allow rapid government
support in the event of a security in= cident. Liaise with external security
advisory services, security experts i= n other companies and embassies.

=E2=80=A2 Manage all third party an= d direct hire security personnel
employed by the company in Indonesia.
=E2=80=A2 Ensure that domiciled and visiting employees received adequate=
security briefings.


Knowledge/Skills :

=E2=80=A2 Prefere= nce would be for an experienced security professional
withstrong contacts = into the Indonesian security establishment and a good
knowledge/ experience= of oil field security matters (and operations)/ The
Security Coordinator r= ole is intended to be dominantly advisory and
persuasive rather than dictat= orial in style and it is key that the
incumbent should have good interperso= nal skills.

=E2=80=A2 Notwithstanding this we need the individual to= have presence and
to be capable of being decisive in an emergency.

= Qualifications :

=E2=80=A2 15 years + of relevant experience relatin= g to either oil and gas
facilities in Indonesia or security services, with = preferably the last 5
years in a role closely related to this position.
= 
=E2=80=A2 Has any necessary qualifications mandated by the 60 / (BPMIGA=
S/MIGAS) for this type of role in supervising a national strategic asset.
