Ham is fine but you need to have another choice of meet, like beef or poultry
:-)
and I would start dinner earlier like 6. that way it gives people time to get
food and eat, before the speaker and some visiting.

Subject: [SAS-BOD] SAS Annual Potluck Dinner
Hi All Board Members,
I would like to go ahead with scheduling the Potluck for December 2 nd 2016 at
the Riverview Community Building. We still have a guest speaker (John Buchanan
from EWU) at 7:30 pm so it would be good if we could start the potluck by at
least 6:30 pm. I am not sure what we did last year but I think the Society
brought the meat and drinks (pop & water in ice cooler and coffee). We could do
the same this year. I am willing to bring two cooked spiral cut hams if some
else can bring drinks. We could ask the club members to bring a main dish,
salad or dessert according to dividing up name alphabetically or just bring
your favorite dish. Everyone should bring their own plates, silverware and
napkins but the society could bring some extra paper plates, plastic silverware
and napkins.
How does this sound? What did I forget? Please give me your comments and
suggestions by Oct. 20 th so Jenny can put an announcement in the Nov. Asterisk
and Nick can put it on the SAS website. We can also talk more final details at
Nov. board meeting.
Thanks,
Jim Picken
