Hi John,
I know this is a long shot, but we've had a last-minute leave of absence for
one of our professors at EWU, and we have an introductory astronomy course
that isn't covered right now. Is there anyone in SAS who'd be willing and
capable of teaching a 10am astronomy course? (It's the usual non-scientists
course, perhaps a half dozen equations are used the entire course.)
I'll also be in touch about what you guys are going for the August solar
eclipse. I hear you've arranged some pre-eclipse events with the Spokane
County library, which is great, and I'd love to help out if I could. (I keep
having something come up when your meetings happen, and unfortunately I'm out
of town April 7 as well, but at some point I'll be in contact.)
