Steve... just throwing a couple of ideas; both ClamAV and
SourceForge already have a working mirror system; so an
alternative solution may be publishing the signatures on either
"network" ; for example, you may open a "sanesigs" project
on SF and use the SF space to upload the current signatures
this won't give you a real mirror, but at least may allow people
to manually update their signatures and get the most recent
version until the mirror system won't be up and running
