Same thing here, we just don't update during the day unless we have a
good reason.

It could probably be fixed in clamd by doing an intelligent reload
instead of a full dump/load. It just hasn't become that big of a problem
yet for most people. You can cheat and run a failover clamd with the old
signatures for those three minutes.
