Steve, feel free to use the perl code snippet that I have in my script that does proper decoding of signatures.
Is there an easy way for you to link the decoder to the database, so people can paste the signature name into the website and see what makes the sig tick? 

Or would that be dangerously exploitable in some way I'm not thinking of?
