Parents, please show your support for our feeder school and volunteer your time.


We would like to invite you to be a part of a special reading celebration at 
H.B. Rhame, Jr., Elementary School on Friday, March 7.  "Wonderful Women Read" 
will pair small groups of our students with mothers, grandmothers, and 
community volunteers for a school-wide read-in.  

 We are asking the women of Columbia to come together for this special event.  
We want our students, many of whom do not have a reader role model in their 
home, to see that read matters.  

  Volunteer readers will gather between 7:30 and 7:45 A.M. in the Rhame Media 
Center for coffee and doughnuts before being escorted to their designated 
classroom.  We will provide great, age-appropriate books for all readers, but 
you may bring a favorite book, if you wish.  We promise to have you on the road 
for your day's activities by 8:30!

  Please consider joining us on Friday, March 7, to share a few books with some 
of our "future leaders."   Our goal is to gather at least 100 women at Rhame to
