[samscommunity] Summer Reading Book Sale

MESSAGE FROM ST. ANDREWS MIDDLE SCHOOL:


On Thursday, May 5, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the St. Andrews Middle School Media 
Center, the SAMS PTO and H.B. Rhame Elementary, in conjunction with 
Waldenbooks, are sponsoring a "Summer Reading" Book Sale to encourage students 
and parents to get a head start on their summer reading.  Research has shown 
that students who read over the summer months return to school having 
maintained or increased their reading level-and summer reading is a great way 
to start off with a good grade in ELA (English/Language Arts) in the upcoming 
school year!

The Elementary, Middle, and High School Summer Reading Lists will be available. 
 You can also view the lists at the website below:

You may pay by cash, personal check, or credit card.  All titles from the 
required reading lists will be on sale at a 10% discount.  Many of the titles 
are Accelerated Reader.

Students will have to take Accelerated Reader tests in elementary, middle, and 
high school.
