[samscommunity] Re: School Report Cards

Hi Everyone,
Just to put a little emphasis on the message below. We must take a =
stand. A concern parent announced the same issue in church yesterday =
about our children's low ratings. This parent encouraged others to come =
out and start participating, getting involved with our children. We need =
to show or faces and concern in these schools!!!!!!  I believe it is =
time for us as parents to come together!!!!!! It is time for the parents =
to come together and brainstorm a solution. Our children are as smart as =
others, it is just unforunate that they don't get the indiviual =
attention they need.

That is where we come in. Our kids need us in and out of the classroom!
I know time is valuable, as for me church, home, work and etc absorbs a =
great deal of my time, but I am willing to squeeze something else in =
there as important as assisting our children.

We need to form Tutoring teams to assist our kids. We must make this =
sacrifice, not just to help your kids but to help others too.

Just to voice some concern, I am an involved parent and try to make sure =

that my kids get what they need and more from their education, but =3D

schools and was very disappointed.  What is happening?  Why is it that =

"other" schools are getting better ratings than our schools?  I'm =3D
concerned about this and want to find out what I can do to help solve =

problem because I want my children, and that's any child that I can be a =

parent to, to get the best education possible.  But it seems that if we =

don't live in the predominantly white neighborhoods, our children are =
left =3D
behind.  Tell me who I need to address on this matter because something =
=3D
needs to be done about this matter and fast before our children are =3D
extinct.=3D20
