[samscommunity] Richland One Arts Festival: Mozart, Magic, and the Muses

MESSAGE FROM ST. ANDREWS MIDDLE SCHOOL:


Richland County School District One is sponsoring the 2006 Arts Festival 
entitled "Mozart, Magic, and the Muses".  

Performances featured in this event will include:  the Elementary Festival 
Choir; Honor Choruses; Honor Bands; Honor Orchestras; Honor Theatre Company; 
Honor Dance Companies; the Richland One Faculty Jazz Orchestra; Logan Leopards 
West African Drum and Dance Ensemble and Steel Drum Ensemble; Special Guies 
French Horn soloist, Mr. Robert Pruzin, USC; Columbia's own Vibrations Dance 
Company, choreography by special guest artist-Martha Brim; and magical 
larger-than-life puppets (including Mozart himself) by a gues artist from Red 
Herring Puppets.  Also, hundreds of students' artwork will be displayed on the 
Coliseum concourse.

There will be several students representing St. Andrews Middle School in this 
event.  You are especially invited to celebrate their successes.

Date:  7:00 PM on Wednesday, March 8, 2006 

Location:  Carolina Coliseum  

Cost:  Free

All Richland One community members are encouraged to attend.  This includes 
parents, volunteers, mentors, business and community partners, parents, 
guardians, faculty and staff, and anyone else associated with the Richland One 
Family.
