MESSAGE FROM ST. ANDREWS MIDDLE SCHOOL:


Parents, 

Ravenous Readers is a program sponsored by our business partner
Colonial Supplemental Insurance Company.  Colonial rewards the students
for completing goals set forth by the ELA teachers and Ravenous Readers
Committee. 

The following are rewards for this year:

Students will receive a certificate and prizes for completing various
levels during the school year.

The first 200 students who read 10 books by January 12 and pass the
Accelerated Reader tests with 60% or higher will be treated to a movie
at Colonial Supplemental Insurance Company (popcorn and drink
included).

All students who read at least 20 books and earn 50 Accelerated Reader
points by passing tests at 60% will attend a year-end field day activity
with games, food, and prizes.

Important Dates:  January 12 --mid year deadline
April 19--year end deadline

All of the above is made possible by the employees at Colonial
Supplemental Insurance Company.  As usual, we thank them for their
support.
