MESSAGE FROM ST. ANDREWS MIDDLE SCHOOL:


WHERE ARE YOU GOING TO COLLEGE?

Do you know the above question is the theme for 8th grade students?  

Our focus is to inspire students to excel beyond the high school classroom. 

Mr. Mychal Wynn, a motivational speaker, will visit St. Andrews Middle School 
on September 11*12.  He will talk to students and assist them with making their 
goals for the future.  

You are invited to attend a special session for parents on Monday, September 
11, 2007 in the Lecture Hall at 6:30 PM. This session is for any parent, not 
just the parents of eighth grade students.

By the end of this school year, according to the Education and Economic 
Development Act (EEDA) , all eighth grade students will have to complete an 
Individual Graduation Plan that will outline their academic and post-graduation 
goals.  

This is the perfect time to inspire your children to succeed.  Students have 
been reading his motivational book Follow Your Dreams:  Lessons That I Learned 
In School.  

Eighth grade teachers throughout the school have worked together to insure that 
students are learning from the context of the book.  

Ask your child to tell you about Mychal Wynn's story.

Pizza will be sold for $1.00 per slice.
