Flagship School of Promise status is awarded to schools across South =
Carolina who provide exemplary support services to students.  Over the =
next four months, we will meet to discuss and document how we:             =
        =20

      *Provide mentors to students,        =20

      *Provide safe and structured activities
       (before, during, and after school),       =20

      *Provide Health Services                 =20

      *Provide marketable skills through effective=20
       education, and                               =20

      *Provide opportunities for students to=20
       participate in service learning projects.


If you are unable to make the meeting, tonight at 5:30 in the media =
center, please have your child stop by Ms. Broome's office to pick up the =
information that will be discussed.  You may also visit the SCASA website =
at www.scasa.org for additional information.         =20

The next meeting will be held on January 13, 2004 (Parent Conference =
Night) at 5:30 in the Media Center.  Your active participation in this =
