I apologize for not getting back sooner.  I had to do some research
about the food.  

Food is cooked at the Central Kitchen Facility and sent to the school
sites each day.  The Central Kitchen Facility is responsible for cooking
the food to a certain temperature to ensure that it is thoroughly cooked
(as in restaurants).  

Questions about the food can be sent to Ms. Imogene Clarke, Director of
Student Nutrition Services.  Her email is  iclarke@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx .

On the Student Nutrition Website,
http://www.richlandone.org/departments/student_nutrition/index.htm  
is information about "Nutrition Advisory Committee".  Please contact
SNS to see about joining a committee or forming one at St. Andrews.  
The committee is one way to ensure that parent concerns are addressed
when discussing issues of student nutrition.

I hope that you are having a great day!  My concern is one that I
expressed, several weeks agao!  My daughter, said last week when they
were served chicken, hers was undercooked and had blood in it.  Of
course my response was did you tell anyone, and of course she said no,
she just threw it away.  Can someone please look into this.  Can we as
parents really find out what's going on?
